Our history
Nielsen Brothers Flooring was founded in 1946 by brothers Tom and Lloyd Nielsen to sell carpet and tile out of their small Ballard storefront. Early on, we sold carpet and tile, period. Over the years, our showroom in the Seattle metropolitan area has expanded our selection from just carpet and tile to virtually every type of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, marble, ceramic, bamboo, composites and much, much more!
Today, Nielsen Brothers Flooring has a large selection available in our Lynnwood, WA showroom. Tastes and styles have changed, but Nielsen Brothers Flooring has always strived to stay at the forefront of flooring fashion, bringing new products and materials to our showrooms as they become available.
